The Oral Tradition ROOTS Foundation proudly announces its approval by the National Training Agency (NTA) as both a Training Provider and Workforce Assessment Centre (WAC). This significant achievement positions the Foundation to deliver nationally recognized Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programmes and facilitate the Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) process, allowing individuals to transform their knowledge, skills, and experience into formal certification. Through this approval, ROOTS Foundation continues its mission of empowering youth and communities through education, mentorship, creativity, and lifelong learning, while expanding access to competency-based training and workforce development opportunities across Trinidad and Tobago.
As an NTA-approved institution, ROOTS Foundation is now equipped to support individuals pursuing certification in areas such as Business Administration (Secretarial Skills), Youth Development Work, Photography, Television and Video Production, and Spoken Word Poetry. This milestone strengthens the Foundation’s commitment to bridging the gap between talent, experience, and professional recognition, particularly for underserved communities, creatives, and individuals seeking pathways toward employment, entrepreneurship, and personal development.
